About Our Homes

The Cheyenne

The Cheyenne creates a feeling of comfort on the inside and outside.  Turning into the driveway, the facade calms you and helps you forget about the hustle and bustle of city life.  Home should be a place to slow down, get back to basics and put the “Sweet” back in “Home, Sweet, Home.”  The Cheyenne provides plenty of retreat areas, yet ample amenities will take entertaining to the highest level.

The home’s exterior is clad in a combination of siding treatments.  The color tones of all-wood cedar siding provide a warm look to the street side, accented by wavy cedar that softens the front. The vertical board and batten siding treatment in the gables seems to stretch their height. Hardie siding on the sides and back of the home is durable and adds texture and beauty.

Indoor’s there’s a WOW factor!  “We kind of wanted the home to “sneak up on you,” said Don Swettt, architect with Lewis River Design. The ambiance on the inside is as cozy and welcoming as it is on the exterior.

There’s definitely a lot of “eye candy” say Pattti Marvitz, Interior Designer of the home and owner of Walls tooWindows, LLC.

An expansive deck and three-season covered porch provide for outdoor entertaining and cooking while staying dry, and it’s conveniently close to the main kitchen.  The remaining portion of the deck is open to views of the scenery below.

Warm, welcoming, Western – that’s the feel of The Cheyenne.
